Prices of oil derivatives in global markets have dropped during the third week of April, according to data released today by the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources.

According to the data, the price of 90-octane gasoline dropped by 10.4%, from JD128.05 ($180.6) per ton in the second week to JD114.65 ($161.7) in the third week, while the price of 95-octane gasoline declined by 8.2% from JD131.73 ($185.8) per ton to JD120.88 ($170.5).

Diesel prices also went down by 14.9% from JD182.92 ($258) per ton to JD155.63 ($219.5), while the prices of kerosene dropped by 8.3%, from JD142.93 ($201.6) to JD131.09 ($184.9) per ton.

The prices of liquefied gas for April stood at JD168.39 ($237.5) per ton.

As for the price of fuel oil, it decreased from JD127.34 ($179.6) per ton to JD109.26 ($154.1), a decrease of 14.2%.

In the third week of April, benchmark Brent crude prices went from $22.9 to $19.4 per barrel.
